目录简介 | 1 Scope This Standards specifies the inspection principle, inspection equipment, inspection method, reference standards, as well as notch dimension, inspection condition, inspection procedure, inspection judgment and inspection report for welded ferromagnetic steel tubes (steel tube for short), with the exception of ferromagnetic seamless tube and submerged arc welding (SAW). This Standard is applicable to the magnetic flux leakage inspection (inspection for short) with longitudinal and transverse of tubes with an outside diameter greater than or equal to 9 mm. 2 Definition The standard adopts the following definitions. 2.1 Magnetic flux leakage Flux leakage which leakage based on defects from inspected steel tubes. 2.2 Survey element component Elements which changing defect based on magnetic flux leakage into electric output, such that detection coil, Hall component, magneto diode and fluxgate component, etc. 2.3 Reference standard A tube/sample tube which conform to product standard with artificial defects, used for setting and calibrating of inspection equipments. 3 Inspection Principles 3.1 The inspection principle means that when the ferromagnetic tubes are magnetized fully, the magnetic line in tube wall is obstructed by defects on surface or near surface, the magnetic line on the defects are occurred distortion and partial magnetic lines leakages to internal and external surface and coming into magnetic flux leakage. The electromagnetic testing method for defects which detecting magnetic flux leakage by using of survey element component, that is magnetic flux leakage testing. The magnetic flux leakage was detected by survey element component located in tube surface and relative movement with tubes and changed it into defect electric signal, at result, the signal will be achieved by transducer which carry out judgment treatment for defects. For sensitivity of inspection, taking external surface of tube as highest and decreases with increasing wall thickness from external surface to internal surface..
