1 Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements for casing running operations in vertical well, directional well, horizontal well and extended-reach well.
This standard is applicable to casing running operations in oil and gas well.
2 Normative references
The following normative documents contain provisions which, through reference in this standard* constitute provisions of this standard.
For dated references, subsequent amendments to, or revisions of, any of these publications (exclude errata) do not apply. However, parties to agreements based on this standard are encouraged to investigate the possibility of applying the most recent editions of the normative documents indicated below.

3 Preparation before operation
3.1 Data preparation
Before running in casing, the following data shall be collected: casing program, actual depth, bottom hole assembly, kick-off point, hole inclination and azimuth, horizontal displacement ,bottom hole temperature, hole diameter from caliper logging, mud properties, formation fluid properties, geologic zonation and lithology in the open hole，and well conditions, etc.
3.2 Wellbore preparation
3.2.1 The well depth meets the requirement of drilling design.
3.2.2 Wellbore quality conforms to the design requirement.
3.2.3 Before running in the casing, a wiper trip is required with the original drill stem, and the following requirements shall be satisfied.
