I General rules
1.0.1 In order to guide the selection of the steel pipe size in the chemical piping design, and guarantee the safety, appropriateness, economical efficiency and reasonableness, quality, this standard is hereby formulated.
1.0.2 This standard applies to selection of steel pipe sizes in the chemical engineering construction to be newly built, rebuilt or; expanded.
1.0.3 This standard does not apply to the selection of the sizes of the following steel pipes
1 Steel pipes used for chemical equipment (non-piping) and other heat exchanger pipe bundle.
2 Steel pipes in High-pressure Pipe Fitting, Pipe Fittings and Fastening Piece Universal H3-67.
1.0.4 In addition to following the provisions of this standard, steel pipe size for chemical piping shall also conform to the requirements of current national standards.
