This national standard specifies expanding test method to test capability of plastic deformation of the round cross section. This standard is applicable to metal tube with the outside diameter less than 150 mm( outside diameter of non-ferrous metal tubing not more than 100 mm) and the wall thickness not more than 10 mm. Scope applicable to outside diameter and wall thickness and metal tube can be more specified in the relevant product standards.
