1 Scope
This national standard specifies flattening test method to test capability of plastic deformation of round cross section metal tube, including the indication of the flaw.
This standard is applicable to metal tube with the outside diameter not more than 600mm and the wall thickness is not more than 15％ of the outside diameter. Scope applicable to outside diameter and wall thickness and metal tube can be more specified in the relevant product standards.
