1 Scope
This part specifies the basic safety requirements for design, manufacturing and fixing of fixed steel ladder.
This part is applicable to fixed steel ladder used in working space of industrial enterprises (except the ones with other special requirements).

For dated reference, subsequent amendments to, or revisions of, any of these publications do not apply. However, parties having reached an agreement based on cited standards with a date are encouraged to study whether the latest versions of the cited documents with a date are applicable.
