1 Subject Content and Application Scope

This standard specifies the folding method of copied documents in technical drawings.
This standard is applicable to manual folded or machinery folded copied documents, and related technological documents. It may be referenced by the design of archiving and managing appliance, or folder.

3 Basic requirements
3.1 The size of folded drawing is normally A4 (210mm x2 97mm) or A3 (297mm x420mm). As for the copied documents that need be binaural into book form, and unavailable with binding margin, the folded size hereof may be 190mm x297 mm or 297 mm x400mm. When the documents are stuck with binding tape (See Annex A), the size of them shall always be A4 or A3.
3.2 No matter what folding method is adopted, the title block of folded copied document shall be exposed outside.
3.3 As required, a specified folding method may be selected in this standard.
