1. Scope This standard specifies the principle and method, arrangement of file and inner-file material, file list, file binding, file box, form specification and its materials' quality requirements for the file formation of scientific and technological archives. This standard is applicable to the file arrangement of general scientific and technological archives. While for the arrangement of scientific and technological archives with strong specialty and non-paper carrier may refer to this Standard. 2. Normative references The following standards contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this Standard. For dated reference, subsequent amendments (excluding content of corrigenda) to, or revisions of, any of these publications do not apply. However, Parties to agreements based on this Code are encouraged to investigate the possibility of applying the most recent editions of the standards indicated below. Terms and Definitions The following terms and definitions are applicable to this Standard. 3.1 Scientific and technological records The generic terms for various forms of file materials recording and reflecting letters, charts and sound images for the scientific research, production and operation, project construction activities and equipment operation, maintenance and management work; hereafter referred to as simply “scientific and technological records” 3.2 Scientific and technological archives The scientific and technological records shall be filed up for conservation, which is formed by the state organizations, social organizations and individuals engaged in various social activities, and which is worthy of conserving for the state, society, organization and individual; hereinafter referred to as "scientific and technological archives" |
