1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms, classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and mark of gas detection and alarm instrument for workplace (hereinafter referred to as "detection and alarm instrument").
This standard is applicable to the production and application of flammable gas, toxic gas and oxygen detection and alarm instruments for domestic workplace; unless otherwise stated in relevant standard, the detection and alarm instrument used in other special places shall also comply with this standard.
