3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of GB/T 15574, the following definitions apply Microalloyed medium carbon steels Class A or high quality structural steel which achieved or approximate mechanical properties of quenched and tempered steel by strengthening and toughening method such as microallying, controlled rolling and controlled cooling cancelled, etc. as well as cancelling quenching and high temperature tempering.
4 Classification
Steel is classified into two classes according to machining methods: a) Microalloyed medium carbon steels for direct cutting UC; b) Microalloyed medium carbon steels for thermal pressure machining UHP.
5 order Contents
Shall include following contents as per contract of order in this Standard: a) Standard number; b) Designation; c) Dimension d) Weight; e) Usage of machining; f) Delivery state; g) Accuracy grade; h) Other special requirements (if necessary).
6 Dimension, Shape and Permissible Deviation
6.1 The dimension, shape and permissible deviation of hot-rolled steel shall be in accordance with GB/T 702-2004, dimension accuracy requirement shall be indicated in contract, to be performed according to Group 2 accuracy if not indicate that. 6.2 The dimension, shape and permissible deviation of bright steel shall be in accordance with GB/T 3207-1988, dimension accuracy requirement shall be indicated in contract, to be performed according to Group 2 accuracy if not indicate that.
