1 General 1.0.1 This specification is for the purpose of unifying the technological requirements on highway reconnaissance and of improving the standard and quality of highway reconnaissance. 1.0.2 This specification is applicable for the reconnaissance at design stage for all kinds of classified highways. 1.0.3 When conducting equivalent depth plan comparison between each design stage, the equivalent depth reconnaissance should be carried out. 1.0.4 When adopting new technology and method for highway reconnaissance, the accuracy requirements specified in this specification should be satisfied. 1.0.5 Error is the index to indicate the measuring accuracy in this specification, taking two times of mean square error as limited error. 1.0.6 All kinds of reconnaissance must be tested according to the metrological provision. 1.0.7 In addition to the provisions in this specification, the highway reconnaissance must be in accordance with national related existing standards and specifications.
2 Terms 2.0.1 Highway reconnaissance An activity of offering corresponding reconnaissance results as required, by adopting measurement and investigation etc. methods to collect social present conditions, economic development, human landscape, geologic-topographic conditions and meteorology etc. information about the regions along the highways, and then to conduct necessary calculations and draw charts, so as to obtain space data and information. 2.0.2 Independent coordinate system It is a kind of rectangular plane coordinate system in which the origin and coordinate axes are selected at random and the projective plane is the fixed datum plane. It is relative to national unified coordinate system in which a certain line of longitude in survey area is taken as center meridian, and a certain elevation plane as projective plane. The control network established by this kind of coordinate system can be converted with the national coordinate system. 2.0.3 Assumed coordinate system It is a kind of rectangular plane coordinate system in which the direction of origin and coordinate axes is assumed at random and the length is not corrected through distortion projection. Generally, by assuming the coordinate of one point (do not make negative coordinate for the survey area) and the azimuth angle of an edge, conduct the direct calculation on the measuring plane. 2.0.4 Check survey An activity to check the accuracy of original control measurement network or confirm if the original control measurement piles are moved, by adopting certain measuring method to measure planes and elevation control measuring points.
