1. Scope

This Standard specifies the classification and technical requirements of arm aerial work platform, as well as test method, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage.
This Standard is applicable to arm aerial work platform.

3. Definition

For the purpose of this Standard, the following terms and definitions shall apply.
3.1 Arm aerial work platform
The elevating mechanism is constituted as arm style aerial work platform by one or multiple arms (including retractable arm).
3.2 Stationary arm aerial work platform
Arm aerial work platform with the position of chassis fixed.
3.3 Movable arm aerial work platform
Arm aerial work platform, which is a running gear without power convenient for moving in work place by external force.
3.4 Self-propelled aerial work platform
Arm aerial work platform, driving between work place and site by its own power.
